Children Services, along with other partner agencies, offers parenting classes. Loving Solutions is the parenting class for parents with young difficult children and the Parent Project is for parents with strong willed teens. The parent project was created by a team of teachers, psychologists, law enforcement officers and above all, parents! The course is designed to meet the specific needs of parents raising strong willed children or out of control adolescents. It is unique because it focuses on the prevention and suppression of the most destructive of adolescent behaviors.
It's the job of Children Services to make sure children live in safe and stable homes, free from abuse and neglect.
